About ÖKOPROFIT:

ÖKOPROFIT stands for ÖKOlogical PROject for Integrated Environmental Technology.

The project supports companies worldwide in improving environmental and climate protection in their own company in an efficient and cost-effective manner. At MADISON, the focus in all areas of the hotel is on operational environmental protection, both sensible, technical solutions and active involvement of our team.

In terms of numbers, Ökoprofit is the most successful model for introducing corporate environmental management approaches and aims to strengthen companies economically through preventive environmental protection. The project is offered regionally through a cooperation between the municipality, business and environmental consultants and is part of the "UmweltPartnerschaft Hamburg" in Hamburg. This regional anchoring is the prerequisite for a direct exchange between all those involved and for all participants to be able to learn among and from each other.

Our housekeeping:

We will change your towels and bathrobes for you if they are lying on the floor. For the sake of the environment, we will change your bed sheets every three days - unless you request an earlier change.

When cleaning, we are increasingly avoiding chemical products and mainly using ecological cleaning products.

Our technology:

We reduce our energy consumption through the use of professional energy control, efficient refrigeration and air conditioning technology, modern LED lighting and energy-saving boxes in the rooms.

Saving water is important to us. That's why the water flow is limited by modern aerators - without compromising your comfort.

With organized waste management and structured waste separation by our employees, we actively contribute to environmental protection in this area.

Our communication:

You will find all important information about your stay on a tablet in your hotel room. We therefore do not display brochures and menus and use this device to provide you with the latest news and tips for your time in Hamburg.
